WordPress Users Survey Part II

Wordpress users survey main

Three weeks ago we presented Part I of our WordPress users survey where we looked at how do users choose which plugins to install for their website.

Now, the second part of that same survey will look at where do users sit in regards to form builders on WordPress. This is what we wanted to know:

1) What is the most important aspect you look for in a WordPress form builder?

23 votes were cast on Usability – user friendly interface and editor and 17 were given to Features – many built in features as well as Customization – the form builder allows 100% customization. Security and the number of 3rd party integrations got the least votes.

Although these answers gave a us a good idea about what do WordPress users prefer, it only told half the story. We also needed to find out where users thought form builders need improvement. This would give us a good image of where we stood and what direction we needed to take.

2) What do you think form builders lack?

Most users thought form builders lacked Customization and Features, with 15, respectively 11 votes. Next were Security, Integrations and Usability, in this order.

These answers, together with the answers from the previous questions give us the full picture of the road we need to take. Whilst what users appreciate about form builders is important, what they feel form builders lack is much more important. Moreover, it tells us on what aspects we need to work on to be regarded as the best form builder plugin on WordPress.

This article concludes our WordPress users survey into how are plugins chosen and what is the general opinion about form builders. If there are any topics you’d wish to see researched, please do not hesitate to write to us.
